Hex Halloween and Entertainment Expo — October 11-14th

As the first expo for the season, the Hex Halloween and Entertainment Expo is one of the biggest Halloween events not to be missed! This season-specific expo will take place at the BMO Centre on Stampede Grounds and will feature haunted houses, costume exhibits, how-to sessions, vendor exhibits, and more! 2019 Spook-tacular — October 19th

Hosted by 17th Ave, the 2019 Spook-tacular event is one that is fun for the whole family! The event will have live music, games, prizes, face painting, ceramic painting, and of course, a costume contest! The event is free to the public and guests can enjoy a free hot chocolate, tea, or coffee while engaging with friends and family at this kid-friendly Halloween celebration!

Inglewood Full Moon Walk — October 13th

You better not be scared of the dark, because on October 13th, you will have the opportunity to walk around the community of Inglewood for the Full Moon Walk. At this event you will hear some spooky stories that will make you wonder if we are alone! Once you have met with the group in front of Rosso Coffee Roasters in Inglewood, you will be led around and told stories of the inhabitants that still roam the city long after death! Grim Manor — October 18-19th, 25-27th, 30-2nd

Held at the WinSport Canada Olympic Park is the opportunity to engage with all things haunted! Grim Manor takes place on dates throughout October and will feature four different haunted houses, three live music performers, a daredevil show, and other festival attractions. Beers and Fears — October 25th

Of the many Halloween events that scare you, there are also those offering at least a cold brew prior to jumping out of your skin! The Beers and Fears event will start you off at the Mill Street Brewpub where you can enjoy a beverage, then you will be ushered onto the bus that will take you to Aspen Crossing. Here you will take yet another bus to a destination about an hour away where you will be boarded onto the Train of Terror! On this paranormal train, you will be haunted, surrounded by disturbing entertainment, and must try to handle the fear! Tickets are available online.

Calgary Halloween Festival — October 26th & 30th

Calling 18+, put your best costume forward and get ready to party with the Calgary Halloween Festival! This year's celebration will take place on two separate dates at Knoxville Tavern. A Date with Death (YYC True Crime Event) — October 29th & 30th

The season may be one filled with spooks and scares, but have you ever wanted to know what is behind these deathly experiences? The YYC True Crime Event is proud to have Dave Sweet, a homicide detective, share some of his knowledge and involvements! The event will include a VIP look into the Calgary Police Museum's true crime exhibits along with some great conversations about what it's like to have a "date with death!" "Clue: Murder is not a game." Visit the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant this Halloween for their epic Murder Mystery Dinner! Paranormal Halloween Party — October 31st

Join Ghost Hunt Alberta for one of the scariest and most paranormal Halloween events of the month!
